EVENT PHOTOS - 28th JUNE 2015

The BWGA Summer Garden Party was held on Sunday 28th June 2015 from 10am to 4pm.

The Party was arranged by Chris Stovold and a team, who worked very hard to get excellent raffle prizes,plants and strawberries, performers and much more.

The cake stall was very popular as usual and all cakes sold out. We collected a record total of over £800 before expenses and welcomed more than 330 people. Face painting was available for Kids. Mary kept the kids busy making various art objects.

The afternoon entertainment included:
Singing from  Laura Heales - Opera for a summer’s day
Music from Jonathan Martin - Hastings singer / songwriter
The Shellac Sisters - Disco time with a difference – using wind-up gramophones
Amy Leake’s Saxophone Players

At the end of the afternoon the adult and kids raffles were drawn and ended a very successful day.

The weather was kind to us, apart from a few drops of rain in the afternoon.

It's events like this that support that we are a real community garden.
